Slide into Summer Learning

Slide into Summer LearningSUMMER IS
ALMOST  HERE!

MOM, DAD....Get a jump on planning today!

As a parent,  I know first-hand the challenges families face in keeping kids engaged and active during  the summer break.

SUMMER SLIDE is a term that refers to students’ tendencies to lose some of the achievement gains made during the previous school year. That’s why I’ve created an Assembly District 7 “Slide into Summer Learning” program guide for your family to fully take advantage of the resources that already exist. Too often, families cannot afford to enroll their kids into summer programs or simply aren’t aware of zero-to-low cost programs being offered. On the reverse side of this flyer you will find summer resources offered by community organizations and local school districts.
